Vegan Butter Chick’n Pie

Ingredients

Serves 4 – 6 people

2 sheets vegan puff pastry
1 red onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 packet of vegan chicken
1 can jackfruit
1 can tomatoes
1 can coconut cream
1 Tub Kavita’s Kitchen Butter Chick’n Paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp coconut sugar
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp chilli flakes

Method:

We tossed the tofu in cornflour and then mixed with @kavitaskitchen.nz tomato infused with tamarind & fragrant curry leaf paste, and roasted in the oven until crispy.

Cooked up some rice noodles and while they were cooking fried up red onion, courgette, red cabbage, chilli flakes and garlic in sesame oil. Mixed it all together with a splash of Ceres coconut aminos and a squeeze of lemon.

Topped with the tofu, sesame & micro greens!
